Python und XML

Python Icon, Photo: Gabriele KantelJon Udell: Lightweight XML search servers, Part 2. » In last month’s installment I showed a simple search service that uses libxslt to reduce a file of XML content (my weblog writing) to just the elements matching an XPath expression. Hier sei Anhand von Beate Palands ATOM 0.3-Feed ein kleines Beispiel: ATOM 0.3 und konvertiert zu RSS 1.0

De-Standardisierung

“Dieses Wochenende scheint etwas in der Luft gelegen zu haben. Dare Obasanjo befürchtet, dass mit XML 1.1 die — beinah — universale Interoperabilität von XML-Anwendungen in Gefahr gebracht wird:

“This is the first step in fragmenting the interoperability on the Web gained by XML. It seems the next step will be W3C sanctioned binary XML.” (XML 1.1: The W3C Gets It Wrong)….”
